Which woman doesn’t want her skin to glow? I know that there’s nothing I love more than when I see women having that natural glow. However, most of them buy products which when you hear their price you have to swallow plenty saliva! Below are a few recipes to try at home to achieve that glowing skin! As long as you’re consistent you will see results
1. Tomato mask
When my sister told me at first to try tomato when I complained to her about how dull and uneven my skin was looking..I looked at her very crazily. But this is actually amazing! Because of the acid tomato has, it’s an amazing cleanser/mask.
5 teaspoons tomato juice
All you need to do is cut a tomato and squeeze the juice out. Apply the mixture on your face using a cotton ball and rinse it off after 30 minutes. Sometimes if I’m feeling lazy I just cut the tomato into half and rub it directly on my face (but please use a cotton ball)
2. Banana and honey
Try as much as possible not to lick this one please. I got this exact recipe from another website and the consistency was pretty good.
1 ripe banana
2 teaspoons honey
Blend the banana in a mixer with the honey. Apply to your face and leave for 15 minutes..Make sure if possible to lie down because standing up might mean the mask may fall off. After 15 minutes wash off with warm water then cold water and moisturize.
3. Oatmeal, honey,& milk
This mixture uses honey like the one above because honey has a lot of benefits. My flatmate used this mixture every night and if you see how her face cleared up from acne and was glowing! I just had to copy her
2 teaspoons oatmeal
1 teaspoon honey
3 teaspoons milk/water
Mix the oatmeal with the honey and add the water or milk to make it a paste. Apply on your face with your hand and make sure you sit still and have a napkin near you because this mixture can get messy! We always had to clean up afterwards but it worked wonders.
